UK Bat Migration Studies (#554)
Short name: UKBMG
Short description: Studies to understand the behaviour of migrant Nathusius' pipistrelles in the UK
Description: The project will track Nathusius' pipistrelles during the autumn and spring migrations to determine the routes taken, arrival/departure/gathering points on the east coast, pre-migration exploratory behaviour and overwintering locations. Other migrant or vagrant species such as Kuhl's pipistrelle, parti-coloured bat and Northern bat may also be tracked.
